3rd IUU Trial Advocacy Competition, 2026 | Pre-Registration Now Open
The courtroom doesn’t lie but people do.
Facts collide. Evidence fractures. The truth waits to be argued.
The School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun, is set to host the 3rd IUU Trial Advocacy Competition, scheduled for 20th–21st February 2026. This national level criminal trial advocacy competition invites law students across the country to step into the shoes of trial lawyers and test their advocacy where it truly matters inside the courtroom.
With the theme “Murder on Trial: Truth on Edge,” this edition revolves around a homicide prosecution entangled in conflicting narratives, evidentiary gaps, and procedural minefields. Participants will be required to think fast, argue sharper, and conduct themselves with the discipline and ethics expected of real courtroom practitioners.
This competition is designed to simulate an authentic criminal trial experience, focusing on examination-in-chief, cross-examination, objections, and final arguments where precision outweighs volume, and credibility is everything.
